Safety Barry Church stopped briefly to chat with a couple reporters before doing his rehab work on Wednesday, and said he expects to be ready to play the Dec. 1 game at Minnesota.
Church broke his right forearm during the Oct. 30 game against Philadelphia, and had a plate inserted about 10 days later.
Church is making steady progress, doing work on the resistance cords on the side during the early portion of Wednesday’s practice. When he returns, Church said he’ll have to wear a cast on his forearm whenever he does return.
In the meantime, J.J. Wilcox has filled the void left by Church.
