Tight end Jason Witten tied the Dallas franchise record for most career starts with 203 when the Cowboys played Green Bay at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Witten is tied with Ed “Too Tall” Jones for the club mark. Jones played from 1974-78 and 1980-89.

Emmitt Smith is third at 199 from 1990-2002.

Witten has played in a team-record 209 consecutive games out of a possible 213 games in his career, missing just one game due to a broken jaw against Arizona on Oct. 5, 2003.

He is third in most games played with the Cowboys with 213. Jones is first with 224. Bill Bates, from 1983-1997 is second with 217.
