Jerry Jones gets hit with a Cowboys helmet after pregame warmups
The game didn’t start out good for the Cowboys, down 14-0 early in the second quarter. The pregame started off worse for Jerry Jones.
As the Cowboys owner left the field before the start of the game, Jones received requests for autographs from the stands. He asked them to throw down items, and a Cowboys helmet hit him in the head.

Jones signed it and returned it, even thanking the fan.
Jones joked afterward that he would not have to enter concussion protocol.
“Well, let me tell you, it was a very positive scene down there,” Jones said with a chuckle. “They just put that helmet out, and it shows that I’m just a glutton, that if you smile at me and knock the hell out of me, I’m all right.”
