Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott vs. 49ers LB NaVorro Bowman. Ezekiel Elliott finally had a breakout game in Week 3, rushing for 140 yards on 30 carries against the Bears. The Cowboys will continue to ride him as much as possible, but he’ll face a stiff test Sunday against the 49ers. San Francisco linebacker NaVorro Bowman led the league in tackles last season, and proved to be a nightmare for Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley in the season opener, as Gurley gained just 47 yards on 17 carries and caught one pass for minus-5 yards. Elliott must do a better job than Gurley did against Bowman and the 49ers defense if the Cowboys are going to walk away with a “W.”
