Game balls from Cowboys’ 31-17 victory over Chicago Bears
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott: Prescott was sharp again, completing 19 of 24 passes for 248 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. His 17-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant in the fourth quarter was his first NFL TD pass.
Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott: Elliott had a workhorse night with 30 carries for 140 yards. His longest run was 21 yards. It was his first 100-yard rushing game. “He had a lot of tough runs, NFL runs,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said.
Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley: When in doubt, find Beasley. He led the team in catches with seven for 73 with a long of 29. He took a big hit on a drag route on the opening drive of the game, but returned. He also had two third-down conversion catches.
Cowboys offensive line: Playing without Tyron Smith, the Cowboys rushed for 199 yards and averaged 4.9 yards per rush. They allowed no sacks and produced a 100-yard rusher in Elliott.
Bears tight end Zach Miller and wide receiver Kevin White: Miller had two touchdown grabs among his eight catches. White caught six passes for 62 yards with a long of 32.
