Game balls from the Giants’ 20-19 victory over the Cowboys
Giants wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard. The trio combined for 11 catches and 150 yards. Cruz had the game-winning catch in the fourth quarter. Beckham had the most yards with 73 on four receptions. He also had the longest catch with a 45-yarder. Shepard, a rookie from Oklahoma, had three catches for 43 yards.
Giants quarterback Eli Manning. He completed 19 of 28 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. His passer rating was 110.3 and he was only sacked twice.
Giants linebacker Jonathan Casillas and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Casillas led the team in tackles with 10. Rodgers-Cromartie had four tackles and two passes defensed. “I felt like we did a good job tackling. They did what they were going to do. Their offensive line is second to none in the league,” Casillas said.
Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey: Bailey made four field goals. They covered 23, 56, 25 and 54 yards. “We were going to give him a shot [at the end of the game],” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. “Obviously, the end of the game situations [time expired] changed those discussions, so we were going to give him a shot if we got close.”
