Johnny Manziel doesn’t let indictment stop the party

Johnny Manziel is quickly running out of friends. The Cleveland Browns, two agents and all of his sponsors have dumped him. But apparently pop star Justin Bieber will always be there for the troubled former quarterback.

Just hours after Manziel was indicted Tuesday by a Dallas County grand jury for an alleged assault involving his ex-girlfriend, Manziel was apparently in Cleveland taking in Bieber’s concert at Quicken Loans Arena, and hanging with Beebs and other buds.

Manziel, 23, faces the possibility of one year in jail and a $4,000 fine if convicted, according to The Associated Press. Manziel attorney Robert Hinton told the AP that both sides will meet with a judge to set bail and then Manziel will be booked, likely this week. Attorneys told the AP that he will plead not guilty to the charge and they intend to fight the case.

The Instagram photo above shows Manziel with former Browns teammate Joe Haden. Of course, Manziel had also been spending time with another Browns teammate, a trouble one at that, Josh Gordon.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has been spending a lot of time in California, and seems to be pretty chummy with Bieber.

Tuesday’s indictment followed by Manziel’s latest unwise decision so soon after, probably isn’t going to entice NFL teams already keeping their distance, from bringing him in for a meeting.

Manziel would be wise, as the Washington Post pointed out to keep his Instagram posts and other social media accounts flush with puppy pictures.
