Former Carroll star Scott Chandler facing retirement after surgery
Former Southlake Carroll standout Scott Chandler, a nine-year NFL veteran tight end, has undergone knee surgery that will “probably keep me from playing again,” according to his message put on Twitter by his wife, Alyssa.
The surgery “will take me out for this season,” he wrote.
Chandler, 30, was injured last season with the Patriots after five seasons with the Bills.
Blessed beyond measure by this man that I get to call my husband. Looking forward to many more years and adventures. pic.twitter.com/67sB7nawHF
