GameDay preview: Indianapolis Colts at Carolina Panthers
Indianapolis (3-4) at Carolina (6-0)
7:30 p.m. Monday, ESPN
Line: Panthers by 6 1/2
The Colts are the only division leader with a sub-.500 record. Indy’s only wins are vs. AFC South patsies. QB Andrew Luck has multiple interceptions in four of five starts and didn’t complete a pass against the Saints until 9:14 of the second quarter. The schedule does them no favors with Carolina, Denver and Atlanta — a combined 17-1 entering Sunday — next in line. The surprising Panthers have won 10 straight. QB Cam Newton has four games with rushing and passing TDs. The defense cuffed Eagles QB Sam Bradford to 205 passing yards and five sacks last week. The Panthers’ top-ranked rushing attack (144.7) has at least 100 yards in 17 consecutive games, second only to the Seahawks (18).
