Texas Longhorns CB Jahdae Barron taken with No. 20 selection in NFL Draft

Texas Longhorns cornerback Jahdae Barron was selected by the Denver Broncos with the No. 20 pick in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Barron is coming off the best season of his college career, where he earned first team All-SEC, All-American and won the 2024 Jim Thorpe Award, given out annually to the best defensive back in college.

How he fits on the Denver Broncos: Barron is a versatile corner who can play on both the inside and outside and figures to fit well next to Broncos’ star cornerback Pat Surtain.
