‘Most Aggie thing ever conceived.’ Texas A&M fan suggests Jimbo Fisher in vaccine fog

Texas A&M football fans expected more from head coach Jimbo Fisher in his fourth season.

After the Aggies 29-19 loss at Ole Miss last week, which dropped A&M to 7-3, one fan suggested that Fisher’s mental acuity has been compromised because he received the COVID-19 vaccine.

The poster asserted, incorrectly, that it is “well known now that in some individuals the vax causes increasing mental fog and confusion.”

Studies have documented lingering “brain fog” in recovering COVID-19 patients, but not with those who are vaccinated.

“I wonder if this is his problem because his performance this year is unlike anything we have seen in the past and it seems to be degrading week by week,” the poster with the handle txrancher69 posted on the TexAgs.com message board.

The reaction to the post has been universally derided by others on social media and elicited a slew of Aggie-related jokes and shots at the state of Texas.

“College football message boards are the peak of comedic writing, they just don’t know it,” posted one user on Twitter.

Another Twitter user summed up much of the reaction: “There it is folks. The most Aggie thing ever conceived.”
