Trysten Hill gains over 7,000 new Twitter followers after being drafted by Dallas Cowboys
Fans jumped on the opportunity last year to follow Michael Gallup on Twitter after he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.
They’re doing the same with Trysten Hill.
Dallas, which sat out the first day of the Draft on Thursday because they didn’t have a pick, chose the Central Florida defensive tackle with the 58th overall selection.
Hill had 2,400 followers at 8:15 p.m. local time. In 20 minutes, he had 600 new followers.
By the end of the night, his Twitter, @trystenhill9, had 6,000 followers at around 11 p.m.
Hill, who is projected to replace the departed David Irving as the pass-rushing three-technique, thinks he fits in well with the Cowboys.
With a full night, Hill’s following is over 9,000 at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Think fans have found their next favorite cowboy.
