The Philadelphia Eagles took a 9-3 lead on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII when Nick Foles hit Alshon Jeffery for a 34-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter. The Eagles missed the point after.

Tom Brady connected with Danny Amendolo for a 51-yard pass that help set up a field goal attempt. The snap was fumbled, which forced a rushed kick that hit off the left upright to start the second quarter.

The teams traded field goals on their first possessions.
