Line: Panthers by 3

Carolina appeared to be on its way to its third consecutive victory last week. Cam Newton was dabbing and the Panthers were rolling, holding a 17-3 fourth-quarter lead. The Chiefs eventually rallied to literally rip the game from the hands of Carolina, handing the Panthers their fourth loss by three points or less. New Orleans can empathize after losing 25-23 against Denver on a blocked extra point returned for a two-point score. Both teams have an outside shot to rally and make the playoffs, but the loser of this NFC South match-up likely puts the final nail in its own coffin. The Saints beat the Panthers 41-38 in Week 6 as Drew Brees threw for 465 yards and four touchdowns.
