The Bengals are in unfamiliar territory after consecutive losses dropped their record under .500 for the first time since early in the 2013 season. The usually-elite Bengals’ defense finds itself in the middle of the pack. The Dolphins are facing struggles of their own, just four days removed from allowing 430 yards of offense to the Browns, who started a third-string rookie quarterback. Miami has come up short in its two matchups against playoff teams from last season. The losers of this contest digs themselves into a seemingly insurmountable hole in their respective divisions.
