This game marks the 10-year anniversary of the Monday night game in 2006 when the Saints reopened their home stadium against the Falcons after the tragic events of Hurricane Katrina. Quarterback Drew Brees and the Saints rank eighth in offense, but have the league’s second-worst defense in terms of yards. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is red-hot, coming into the week as the league’s highest rated passer (121.4) at the helm of the league’s second-ranked offense.
