Mavericks’ preseason schedule includes three home games
The Dallas Mavericks will open their seven-game preseason schedule on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. in Shreveport against the host New Orleans Pelicans.
In addition, single-game tickets for the regular season can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, at the American Airlines Center box office, or by calling 214-747-MAVS.
The schedule, which was released Wednesday, includes home games against Charlotte (Oct. 3), Oklahoma City (Oct. 11) and Houston (Oct. 19). The Mavericks will also play road games in Phoenix (Oct. 14) and Denver (Oct. 21), and a road game in Madison, Wis., on Oct. 8 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Only four of the seven games will be televised. The games against Charlotte and Houston will be shown on KTXA/Channel 21. Fox Sports Southwest will televise the games against Oklahoma City and Denver.
Following preseason play, the Mavericks will open the regular season on the road on Oct. 26 against the Indiana Pacers. The Mavericks’ home opener is Oct. 28 against Houston.
Last year, the Mavericks finished sixth in the Western Conference with a 42-40 record and lost to Oklahoma City in five games in the first round of the playoffs.
