About the Wings: Dallas dropped its fifth consecutive game to undefeated Los Angeles 97-73 on Saturday. Skylar Diggins returned to the lineup and scored 13 points in just her second game of the season and first since May 21. Glory Johnson played in her second game after returning from suspension and finished with seven points and six rebounds. Odyssey Sims scored a team-high 18 points and Aerial Powers added 16 in 25 minutes off the bench. Sims and Theresa Plaisance each scored 14 points, but the Wings lost 79-71 to New York on May 15.
About the Liberty: New York rebounded from its worst loss of the season against Los Angeles on June 7 as Sugar Rodgers scored 22 points and Tina Charles added 21 to help beat San Antonio 90-75 on Saturday. New York led by one after three quarters before outscoring the Stars 28-14 in the final frame. The Liberty finished with 48 rebounds and rank first in the league with 39.6 rebounds per game. Rodgers and Charles had 24 points apiece in the first meeting with Dallas.
