DALLAS – One of the Dallas Mavericks’ most impressive wins of the season occurred Jan. 19 when they traveled to Memphis and defeated the Grizzlies 103-95.
It was a game where the Mavs were the aggressors, where they played hit-first basketball, and where they stood their ground whenever the Grizzlies would make a run. The Mavs are hoping for a duplicate performance when they host the Grizzlies at 7:30 Tuesday night at American Airlines Center.
"I thought we were very persistent at both ends and we really worked to rebound, and we’re going to have to do the same thing tomorrow,’’ coach Rick Carlisle said following Monday’s practice at AAC. "They’re going to be very motivated coming back in here after we beat them at their place.
"We just need to pick it up. We just need to pick it up.’’
