Energized Mavericks fans revving up for Game 3 playoff game at the AAC

The Dallas Mavericks return home to the American Airlines Center for Games 3 and 4 of the best-of-seven first-round playoff series against Oklahoma City and their fans will be there to meet them in a big way.

The Mavericks are coming off a gritty 85-84 win in Oklahoma City Monday night.

Game 3 tipoff is 6 p.m. Thursday. Doors open at 4 p.m.

There will be 15,000 team posters at the exits and 20,000 Mavs Blue T-shirts in the seats.

In addition, The Dirkburger is back for the playoffs at the concession stands.

The Mavericks are also promoting a ##MavsSkipDay! to encourage fans to arrive early. There will be $2 hotdogs before 5 p.m. and $3 off the Dirkburger (sections 106, 114 and 118) before 5 p.m.

The first 1,500 fans to arrive will receive a free Mavs cap, courtesy of Sprite.

Another 20,000 T-shirts will be in the seats for Game 4, which starts at 7 p.m. Saturday.
