About the Mavericks: After Saturday’s 112-105 loss to Indiana — which completed an 0-3 homestand — the Mavs have the NBA’s longest current losing streak at five straight. They are just 5-11 since Feb. 1. Dallas lost despite compiling 30 assists against the Pacers. ... The Mavs lost at home to Charlotte 108-94 on Nov. 5, the Hornets’ first win in Dallas since 1998 after 14 consecutive losses. ... The Mavs are tied with Houston for seventh in the Western Conference, one game in the loss column behind sixth-place Portland.
