Mavericks, Stars have doubleheader at American Airlines Center on Saturday

The Dallas Mavericks’ home game Saturday against the Indiana Pacers will be part of an NBA/NHL American Airlines Center doubleheader.

The Mavericks will host the Pacers at 1 p.m., then the hardwood floor comes up and the ice goes down as the Dallas Stars entertain the St. Louis Blues at 8 p.m.

Saturday will also be the first and only regular-season appearance for Indiana rookie Myles Turner, a former standout at Euless Trinity High School and the University of Texas.

Turner was recently named the NBA’s Eastern Conference rookie of the month for February.
