About the Mavericks: Dallas snapped a three-game home losing streak Monday with a 104-94 win over the Phoenix Suns. Chandler Parsons scored seven of his 17 points during a 21-second span of the fourth quarter when the Suns were staging a comeback. ... The Mavericks are 2-5 against Indiana in their past seven meetings. Dallas is 39-28 overall against the Pacers, but only 16-17 in Indiana. ... Deron Williams returned from a one-game absence due to a stomach illness to score a team-high 18 points in the win over the Suns. ... The Mavericks host the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday and then take three days off before playing at Toronto on Dec. 22.

About the Pacers: Indiana is in third place in the Central Division but only two games behind first-place Cleveland in the loss column. ... The Pacers have been buoyed by the resurgence of small forward Paul George, who is fourth in the NBA in scoring at 26.5 points per game. George also averages 7.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals, and is 14th in 3-point shooting at 43.3 percent. ... Dallas Skyline product C. J. Miles averages 15.5 ppg in only 28.6 minutes per game. ... Former Mavericks guard Monta Ellis is averaging 12.3 ppg and 4.7 apg, and is 14th in the league in steals with 1.83 per game.
