Deron Williams scores 30 as Dallas Mavericks force overtime, beat Trail Blazers

Why the Mavs won: Deron Williams took over Monday’s game, scoring 30 points, handing out eight assists and producing two big blocks down the stretch in the fourth quarter to help the Dallas Mavericks to a 111-105 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.

Key players: While Deron Williams scored nine of his 30 points in overtime, Dirk Nowitzki added 28 points, grabbed seven rebounds and distributed six assists. Zaza Pachulia was big inside the paint with 14 points and 21 rebounds, and Wesley Matthews added 19 points
