About the Clippers: Blake Griffin had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Clippers past the Mavs 104-88 on Oct. 29. Also in that game, Jamal Crawford scored 15 points, and DeAndre Jordan added six points, 15 rebounds and four blocks. ... This is the opener of a back-to-back for the Clippers, who play in Phoenix on Thursday night before returning home to host Detroit on Saturday afternoon. ... The Clippers are coming off Monday’s 94-92 win over Memphis.

About the Mavericks: Dallas, which was blown out 120-105 Tuesday night at New Orleans, shot a dismal 36.1 percent from the field and was 6-of-30 from 3-point range (20 percent) in its loss to the Clippers. ... The Mavericks will be playing the second end of a back-to-back amid a stretch of four games in five days. Owner Mark Cuban said before Tuesday’s game that the Mavs would rest some of their regular players against the Clippers.
