Mavericks gearing up for home opener with pep rally and party for fans

The Dallas Mavericks are gearing up for their home opener by hosting a pep rally and Party in the Park on Tuesday at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas.

The pep rally and party will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event features DJ Joe Ramirez along with appearances by Champ, Mavs Man and performances by Mavs Dancers, ManiAACs and Drumline.

The Mavericks take on Toronto Tuesday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. AAC doors open at 6. Tipoff is 7:30.

A special edition t-shirt will be given away at the game.
