Mavericks set roster by cutting rookie Maurice Ndour

The Dallas Mavericks waived rookie forward Maurice Ndour on Monday to reach the NBA roster limit of 15.

The NBA regular season begins tonight. The Mavericks open at Phoenix on Wednesday.

Ndour saw action in four preseason games, averaging 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 22.8 minutes.
