Watch: SMU fans chant ‘fire Nico’ as Dallas Mavericks general manger attends game

Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison was booed by the Mustang student section at an SMU’s game against Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

In the days following the trade’s gathering outside American Airlines Center to protest the GM, fans have expressed their displeasure with the Doncic trade and even raised money for a billboard denouncing Harrison.

That crowdfunding campaign currently has raised $49,645 of its $82,600 goal.

The protests have even taken root at the Mavs home stadium, where a fan was escorted out by arena officials after mouthing ‘Fire Nico,’ when shown on the jumbotron at the team’s game against the Sacramento Kings on Monday.

Mavs fans still reeling from the loss of Luka Doncic don’t seem ready to move on from their critiques of the Mavs GM Nico Harrison.
