Mavs fans on Luka Doncic trade: ‘One of the biggest mistakes in the history of sports’

When the Dallas Mavericks shocked the NBA world with the announcement that they had traded Luka Doncic in a three-team trade with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz, fans and pundits were quickly to respond on social media.

In the trade, the Mavs received Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and the Lakers’ 2029 first-round pick and sent Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber, and Markeiff Morris to Los Angeles.

The Utah Jazz received Jalen Hood-Schifino and two second-round picks.

The trade was immediately criticized online by fans and pundits who were surprised at the return the Mavs received for Doncic and that he was on the trade block.
