Mavericks sign free-agent forward Ndour
The Dallas Mavericks signed a three-year contract with free agent forward Maurice Ndour, a native of Senegal who played on the New York Knicks’ summer league team in Las Vegas earlier this month.
In Las Vegas, the 6-foot-9, 200-pound Ndour averaged 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 28.3 minutes in 5 games (4 starts). He scored a team-high 23 points in a win against Philadelphia.
Ndour, 23, played at New York City’s Monroe College before transferring to Ohio University. He averaged 13.8 points and 7 rebounds as a junior and 16 points and 8.3 rebounds as a senior.
