Which NBA superstar will Luka Doncic play in preparation for the FIBA World Cup 2023?
Luka Doncic will be playing professional basketball for his home country of Slovenia next week in preparation for the FIBA World Cup 2023.
The FIBA World Cup begins on Aug. 25 and in preparation for the tournament, Slovenia will play several preparation games against The United States, Croatia, Greece, Spain and Japan.
Slovenia’s first game will be played against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece on Aug. 2 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Slovenia will then travel to Athens, Greece two days later in an international home-and-home series.
Afterward, Slovenia will host Croatia before traveling to Spain to play games against the United States and Spain. The team’s final preparation game will take place on Aug. 19 against Japan at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
The FIBA World Cup begins on Aug. 25 and will be hosted by the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
Slovenia’s first game of the tournament will be at on Aug. 26 against Venezuela at Okinawa Arena in Japan.
