Which NBA legends are introducing Dirk Nowitzki at his Hall of Fame induction?

Ex-Dallas Maverick Dirk Nowitzki will be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in August.

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the players slated to present the class of 2023 and Mavs fans will recognize the two players introducing Nowitzki.

Nowitzki will be introduced by Jason Kidd and Steven Nash, who themselves were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.

Nash and Nowitzki played together from 1998-2004 and became close friends and all-stars together but Nash would depart the team for the Phoenix Suns in 2004.

Kidd, the Mavs’ current head coach, and Nowitzki played together from 2008-2012 when they would win the Mavs’ first and only NBA Championship in one of the greatest upsets in NBA history over the LeBron James-led Miami Heat.

Nowitzki will be joined in enshrinement by the 1976 Women’s Olympic Basketball Team, Becky Hammon, David Hixon, Dwyane Wade, Gary Blair, Gene Bess, Gene Keady, Gregg Popovich, Jim Valvano, Pau Gasol andTony Parker.

The ceremony will take place on Aug. 12 and a specific time has not yet been set.
