The Mavericks earned a 103-98 win over the Bulls in Chicago on Wednesday night, and owner Mark Cuban’s team has now won three of its past four games.

But all is reportedly not well with Dallas.

Here’s what ESPN reporter Tim MacMahon said in a cut from the website’s latest power rankings:

“Don’t be deceived by DeAndre Jordan’s solid statistics. He has been a major disappointment for the Mavs. He has rubbed teammates the wrong way with what they perceive as selfish play, the most blatant example being when he stole an uncontested rebound from Luka Doncic by putting his forearm in the prized rookie’s back and tipping the ball away. Jordan’s disinterest in playing help defense has been a big problem as Mavs opponents light up the scoreboard.”

And here’s how point guard Dennis Smith Jr. responded to the quote on Instagram:

Jordan signed a one-year, $22M deal with the Mavs in the offseason. Thus far, he leads the team in rebounds and blocked shots.

However, the Mavericks are currently 22nd in the league in defensive rating.
