Dallas Mavericks extend qualifying offer to guard Yogi Ferrell
The Dallas Mavericks extended a qualifying offer to guard Yogi Ferrell, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
That means Ferrell will become a restricted free agent on July 1.
Ferrell, who made $1.3 million this past season, played in all 82 games and averaged 10.2 points and three rebounds in his second year in the NBA.
The Mavs can match any offer Ferrell receives.
Teams have until June 29 to make offers to other qualifying players, which includes Mavs' forward Doug McDermott and center Salah Mejri.
