DALLAS – The Dallas Mavericks still don’t know if center Tyson Chandler and small forward Chandler Parsons will be able to play in Thursday’s road game in Portland.
Chandler has missed the past three games with a left hip flexor, while Parsons has been sidelined the last five games with a sprain and bone bruise to his left ankle.
After Tuesday’s practice, coach Rick Carlisle said of Chandler: "He went through a lot of it. He’s feeling better.
"I don’t know if he’s going to play (Thursday) or not. But every day he’s gotten a little bit better, so we’ll see where we are the next couple of days.’’

As far as Parsons’ status, Carlisle said: "He did some non-contact things (Tuesday) and he’s doing better, too. So again, we’re just kind of monitoring him day-to-day.
"He’s on the right track, but at this moment right now he’s not ready to play today, but we’ll see. He’s got a couple more days.’’
