About the Mavs: Embattled point guard Rajon Rondo was back at practice Friday after he was suspended from Wednesday’s game in Atlanta for conduct detrimental to the team. Coach Rick Carlisle and Rondo had a heated exchange with 8:10 remaining in the third quarter of Tuesday’s win over the Toronto Raptors. ... Forward Chandler Parsons (ankle) will miss his fourth straight game. ... Center Tyson Chandler (hip) is questionable after sitting out Wednesday’s game in Atlanta. ... Amar’e Stoudemire didn’t play against Atlanta because he needed some rest but will play Satuday. In his two games with the Mavs, Stoudemire has 20 points and six rebounds in 28 minutes. He’s 7 of 11 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. ... The Mavs upended the Nets 96-88 in overtime on Jan. 5 in Brooklyn behind 19 points from Monta Ellis. Rondo scored just two points in that game on 1-of-13 shooting, but he contributed 10 rebounds and 14 assists.
