Newest Metroplex pro team debuts as WNBA’s Dallas Wings
The WNBA introduced and unveiled its newest team to the Metroplex, the Dallas Wings, on Monday at College Park Center on the UT-Arlington campus.
Skylar Diggins and Odyssey Sims, who played her high school career at Irving MacArthur, were in attendance to help launch the new team, which is coming over from being the Tulsa Shock.
Head coach Fred Williams was also in attendance to help unveil the new team name and logo before a few hundred fans and school officials at College Park Center, where the team will play its home games during the 2016 season.
