TMS Sprint Cup races set for evening, afternoon starts

Texas Motor Speedway’s 2016 schedule will feature evening starts to four of its six races.

The Duck Commander 500 starts at 6:30 p.m. April 9, the IndyCar Firestone 600 at 7 p.m. June 11, and the AAA Texas 500 at 1 p.m. Nov. 6.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 Xfinity Series race is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 8, and O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge (Xfinity) is at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5.

Both Truck Series races will be under the lights with the Rattlesnake 400 at 8 p.m. June 10 and Longhorn 350 at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4.
