The pair made their relationship public in the spring of 2013 towards the end of race week at Charlotte Motor Speedy.
Patrick is leaving Stewart-Haas Racing after Nature’s Bakery ended its sponsorship agreement with the team in January with two years remaining on the contract. Patrick spent her six-year, 187-race NASCAR career with Stewart-Haas.
In mid- November of this year, Patrick emotionally announced her retirement from full-time racing. Although, she does plan to end her professional career by driving in next year’s Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500.
And even though her racing career might be over, for the most part, she has plenty of opportunities to build a career off the track.
