Drew Stubbs collected a hit and has reached in seven of his past 10 games.

Rangers left-hander was twice a victim of the short porch in right field in the Alamodome on Friday and wasn't discouraged by his outing (video by Jeff Wilson).

Pitching: Holland focused on his off-speed pitches while allowing four runs on seven hits. ... He allowed two homers, both of which would have been outs in a properly configured ballpark. ... The only blemishes against Klein, who is still in the competition for the fifth spot in the rotation, were two walks. ... Sam Dyson allowed the go-ahead homer in the ninth on a ball that might have traveled 330 feet to right-center field.
