Texas Rangers hitting fans with first ever Super Bowl ad
It’s a day for celebrating football but the Texas Rangers want a piece of the action.
For the first time ever, the Rangers are running a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl. The ad will air locally only on CBS KTVT/Ch. 11, which is carrying Sunday’s game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. A special ticket offer will be included in the spot, which is scheduled to run in the last block of ads before the halftime show. No other information on the ticket special was available.
The commercial will include behind the scenes footage of manager Jeff Banister and the team during last season’s American League West title run.
