Time to open the wallets, Rangers fans.
There are several Rangers-centric items up for bid during the annual winter meetings charity auction which ends at 8 p.m. Thursday at mlb.com.
The initiative helps raise awareness and funds for cancer research. A portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit the Do It For Durrett Foundation, which honors the late Rangers beat writer Richard Durrett.
These are big ticket items. The Ultimate Rangers experience package, which includes batting practice on the field and lineup card dutires, is already over $1,000. So if you fancy yourself a high roller, get cracking.
