Rangers pitcher Tanner Scheppers headed to DL again

Tanner Scheppers is headed back to the disabled list with right elbow inflammation.

Scheppers, a right-hander, had spent more than a month on the DL with the same injury earlier this season, and returned to make only four appearances. The Rangers are bringing up Ben Rowen from Triple A Round Rock to take Scheppers’ spot.

This is the 20th time the Rangers have used the DL this season.
