Alexi Ogando on DL with right elbow inflammation

Alexi Ogando is the latest Texas Ranger to land on the disabled list.

The team placed the right-hander on the DL with right elbow inflammation Wednesday after he complained about it following his outing on Tuesday.

Ogando had three stints on the DL last season, although none were related to his elbow. He has had a rough season to date, posting a 6.84 ERA over 27 appearances.

The Rangers recalled left-hander Aaron Poreda to take Ogando’s spot.
