Rangers-Blue Jays game times set for ALDS
There are no more potential matchups or scenarios to sort through. The Texas Rangers finally know their next move.
The Rangers’ best-of-five American League Division Series against the Blue Jays begins at 2:37 p.m. Thursday in Toronto.
Game 2 is at 11:45 a.m. Friday in Toronto. Game 3 is scheduled for 7:10 Sunday at Globe Life Park. Game 4, if necessary, is scheduled for Oct 12 at Globe Life Park. A deciding Game 5 would be back in Toronto on Oct. 14.
The Rangers were 2-4 against the Blue Jays. Toronto took two of three in Toronto in late June and two of three in Arlington in late August.
Yovani Gallardo pitched his best game of the season on June 27 in Toronto. He held the Blue Jays scoreless on three hits and two walks in 8 1/3 innings, his longest outing of the season. Gallardo also beat them on Aug. 27 in Arlington. He held them scoreless on three hits and three walks over 5 1/3 innings.
