Texas Rangers fans say the All-Star Game has lost its spark in report

According to a report by casino.ca a majority (51%) of Rangers fans believe the MLB All-Star game has lost its spark, though fans had ideas for how to make the game exciting again.

According to the report, which surveyed 4,000 Ranger fans, the top changes they thought could be made were having more players mic’d up for the game, the ability for fans to vote on in-game decisions and some (59%) believe the MLB should re-institute the rule that the team that whichever league wins the All-Star Game should be awarded home field advantage for the World Series.

Another 59% of fans said they wouldn’t even miss the All-Star Game if it didn’t come on TV this year.

The position player starters have been revealed for this year’s game, set to take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at Truist Park.

No Rangers were selected as starters, but with the top ERA (3.23) in the Majors, the team should be represented on the pitching side of this year’s Midsummer Classic.

The full all-star roster, including pitchers and reserves, will be revealed at 4 p.m. on Sunday and will be broadcast on ESPN.
