See it at Globe Life Field: Texas Rangers unveil special collection celebrating World Series victory

The Texas Rangers will celebrate their World Series victory with several ceremonies throughout their season-opening weekend series against the Chicago Cubs.

The Rangers will hang their championship banner prior to Thursday’s opener, and receive their World Series rings on Saturday and wear their new gold-tweaked uniforms throughout the series.

The Rangers also have a special exhibit and murals throughout Globe Life Field to commemorate their Fall Classic win and other Rangers history including the 1995 All-Star game.

Here’s where fans can check out the murals and special exhibits:

Located near the southeast entrance, this display case holds the Rangers lineup card from game 5 of the World Series, a bat used by Adolis Garcia during the World Series and the baseball thrown by Josh Sborz for the final out of the World Series and other objects form the Rangers vault.

Fans entering the southwest entrance can see this banner showing multiple players from the team with World Series champions on the ends.

This display case near the southwest entrance has multiple World Series keepsakes including red, white and blue shoes that have “went and took it,” emblazoned on the sides, a scorecard from Game 1 of the World Series and a Sports Illustrated issue featuring Corey Seager among others.

This mural says “Went and Took It,” a play on the Rangers playoff motto of “Go and Take It,” and is located near section 140.

Near the southeast entrance, this mural displays Marcus Semien who hit two home runs during the 2023 World Series.

This poster can be found near the southeast entrance with World Series MVP Corey Seager celebrating a postseason home run.

Found near the Northwest entrance, these display cases have keepsakes the 1995 MLB All-Star game played at The Ballpark in Arlington.

This poster near section 200 is a team photo with the World Series trophy.

The Rangers will begin the 2024 season on Thursday against the Chicago Cubs at 6:35 p.m. at Globe Life Field.
