Fans flock, overwhelm team store at Globe Life Field

The Globe Life Field gates opened at 4 p.m., three hours before the first pitch of the 2023 World Series.

Within minutes, however, the team store inside the ballpark was overwhelmed with hundreds of fans attempting to buy the freshly unpacked World Series merchandise.

From $48 caps to $225 jerseys and more.

Fans looking for knick knacks like World Series mugs, shot glasses and tumblers can expect to pay $24, $8 and $32 respectively.

The Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks are meeting the best-of-seven Series. Game 1 is Friday; Game 2 on Saturday at Globe Life Field.
