Former U.S. President and Rangers owner George W. Bush on hand to watch ALCS at Globe Life Field
As the Rangers faced off against the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the American League Championship series, their former owner and 43rd President of the United States was there to watch.
President George Bush attended Wednesday’s game with his wife Laura.
The pair also attended game 3 of the American League Division series where the Rangers completed their sweep of the Baltimore Orioles. Both bushes received a thunderous applause after being shown on the Jumbotron of that game.
Bush served two terms as the 43rd President of the United States. Bush also has a strong connection with the Texas Rangers after purchasing a 2% stake in the club in 1989.
