Corey Seager set a MLB record in the fourth inning of Game 3 of the American League Division Series against Baltimore on Wednesday at Globe Life Field.

Seager has nine walks so far through three games which sets a record for most walks in a league division series. The record was previously held by Barry Bonds by and tied Jim Wynn for the most walks in any playoff series.

Seager’s nine walks are the most in a three-game span in MLB history.

Seager made MLB history in game two of the series when he became the first MLB player to walk five times in a single postseason game.

Seager’s gotten off to a torrid start in the 2023 postseason, reaching base at least three times in all five games. The Rangers have followed his lead going undefeated to date in the 2023 postseason.
